This is the first time that the widow of the deceased has refused to accept the financial help offered by the government and she has rather retorted by offering ten times of financial aid to the government if they can handover the real culprit Mr Raj Thakre to her.
I salute her ( wife of deceased person who was beaten to death by Marathis in Mumbai train when they came to know that the person belong to North India)and the entire country should appreciate the pain she is suffering after the death of her husband in the hand of rioters called as Marathis.
Normally our politicians extend some financial help to the aggrieved family and earn cheap sympathy from the victim's family at the cost of national fund. They never think that such financial help is nothing but a beginning in the search of the culprit and an effort to ensure punishment to the criminals in shortest period. But unfortunately politicians treat such financial help to the victim as the end of the sad chapter of rioting or brutal killing .
Not only this, Raj Thakre has been continuously committing the acts for considerable long period which divides the society and which give rise to social conflict and rioting on the basis of caste or regionalism. He never cared the non-serious warning of Government of Maharastra or Government of India.
Our Home Minister Mr. Shiv Raj Patil in his usual and streao type response after all mishappenings or after each Naxal attacks or Terror attacks says
"We have advised the Maharashtra Government to do what they are exptected to do and we hope they will so”’
Raj Thakre least bothers of such routine statements of Home Minister and neither Maharastra Government appears to be worried about the prevailing unrest in Mumbai and in Maharashtra as well as the resultant repercussion in the state of Bihar, Uttrar Pradesh and in the entire country. In their usual style, government forms a committee or judiciary inquiry and closes the chapter for ever.
Not to speak of Raj or Rahul incidents there are several Raj Thakres working in our country in the name of one party or the other, in the name of social organization or some movement. Government has completely failed to stop their anti-national activities only due to the fact that they always think in term of their vote banks.
People of India have been witnessing one after other terror attacks in some parts of the country for several years. Thousand of person has been killed in such serial bomb blasts and many families lost their beloved, but our home Minister always says that he will look into the matter. Our Prime Minister condemns such terror attacks ( we are obliged that he at least does not praise brutal beating, killings and rioting like Shiv Sena or MNS Thakres) and informs the people of India that red alert and high alert has been decalred.Government in its usual style preaches that People should not feel panic and maintain peace.
Lastly to pacify the victims of terror attacks, government will announce some financial help to the families of the injured and the killed person. Such financial help constitutes the rolling shutters which helps the politicians and administrators close the issue once for ever, to pacify the anger of the general mass and finally to sleep peacefully .
This is the reason that activities of anti national groups has spread like cancer in each and every corner of the country.
It is therefore praiseworthy that the widow of the Mr. Roy beaten to death has refused to accept financial help offered by the government. If people of the country revolt and start punishing the irresponsible politicians of the country, there is no doubt that effectiveness of police department and the administration in general will improve and criminal will fly away.
It is only due to inherent weakness and rampant corruption in our administrative as also political system that power and effectiveness of terror linked organization has spread like cancer in Indian body system.
Voters should therefore try to take lessons from the said widow and refuse to accept all lollypops given by politicians at the time of election.
